What is a Pan Card ?
A PAN (Permanent Account Number) Card is a unique 10-digit alphanumeric number issued by the Income Tax Department of India. It serves as a critical identity proof for individuals and businesses for financial transactions, income tax filing, and KYC purposes.
Whether you're opening a bank account, filing tax returns, buying property, or receiving payments above a certain limit, a PAN card is essential for both salaried individuals and self-employed persons.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any Indian citizen above the age of 18 years
- Minors can apply through guardians
- NRIs, foreign nationals, and companies can also apply with proper documentation
How to Apply for Pan Card at Our CSC
1. Visit Our Center
Walk into our center and consult with our PAN facilitation expert.
2. Fill Out the Application Form (Form 49A)
Our staff will fill the form with your details and upload your documents digitally.
3. Biometric & Photo Capture
We will take your live photo and capture biometric data if required.
4. Pay the Application Fee
Nominal fee as per NSDL/UTI guidelines is applicable.
5. Receive Acknowledgment
Get your acknowledgment receipt with a 15-digit reference number to track your PAN.
Documents Required for Pan Card
Only two documents are needed — one for Proof of Identity and one for Proof of Address:
Proof of Identity (Any one):
- PAN Card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Driving License
- Aadhaar Card
Proof of Address (Any one):
- Electricity Bill
- Bank Statement / Passbook
- Water Bill
- Ration Card
- Aadhaar Card
Others:
- Passport-size Photo (if applying offline)
- Mobile Number (for OTP verification)
Note: For minors, the guardian’s documents are required along with the birth certificate.
