What is a Domicile Certificate ?
A Domicile Certificate is an official document issued by the state government that confirms an individual's residence in a particular state or union territory. It serves as proof of a person’s permanent address and is required for various government services, education quotas, local job opportunities, and property ownership.
How to Apply for Domicile Certificate at Our CSC
1. Visit Our Center
Walk into our center and let our staff know you want to apply for a domicile certificate.
2. Document Submission
Submit the required documents such as ID proof and residence proof.
3. Form Filling & Upload
Our team will fill out the application form online and upload your documents on the official government portal.
4. Receipt & Acknowledgment
You'll receive an acknowledgment slip with your application number for tracking.
5. Certificate Delivery
Once approved, the certificate will be printed and handed to you or sent via email/SMS (as per government system).
Documents Required for Domicile Certificate
Make sure to carry the following documents when visiting our CSC:
- Proof of Identity (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, etc.)
- Proof of Residence (Electricity bill, Rent agreement, Ration card, etc.)
- Passport-size Photograph
- Birth Certificate or School Leaving Certificate (as age/address proof)
- Affidavit/Declaration of continuous residence, if required by state rules
Note: Additional documents may be required based on local/state regulations.
Processing Time
- Certificate Issuance: Within 7 to 15 working days, subject to government portal and approval flow.
- You will receive updates via SMS/email once your application is reviewed.
- You can check the status of your application any time using your acknowledgment number provided at our CSC.
